Do your maintenance jobs sometimes run overtime and conflict with other running jobs? They can even conflict for extended periods and spill over into production hours and causing your users to be upset.
Not anymore! With SQLWatchmen, we have technology which will only run configured maintenance jobs when other specific maintenance jobs are not already running. We simply define which jobs are a higher priority than the job requesting to run, and if any of them are running, the job terminates and notifies us of the conflict. This prevents hours of conflicts and blocks during the nightly maintenance window.
This is proprietary code not found in SQL Server. Based on years and years of experience with working with SQL Server, we wrote our own code to solve this, and many other common problems.
